Biography
David Lewis joined Valeritas in June 2016. Mr. Lewis brings with him more than 20 years of healthcare industry marketing experience having led product launch teams for both Merck and Bristol-Myers Squibb/AstraZeneca. Mr. Lewis has extensive experience in the diabetes market having served as Senior Director and Team Lead for Merck’s launch of Januvia® followed by his leadership over the global launch of Forxiga® during his tenure with AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb as Executive Director of Marketing. Mr. Lewis has also led the development and execution of commercial strategies and plans for several smaller startup bio-pharma companies.
