Stephanie Carter

Biography

Dr. Carter holds a PhD in Environmental and Occupational Hygiene from the University of Washington. She has been a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) since 1994. Dr. Carter has professional experience in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene in the petrochemical industry, aluminum smelting industry, and as an educator. Her experience includes special training in chemical exposure assessment, confined space ventilation, and welding health and safety. She has presented at professional conferences and symposia with particular emphasis on petrochemical turnarounds, welding health and safety, silica, and confined spaces.
