John G. Stratton

Biography

 Mr. John G. Stratton has been the President of Operations and Executive Vice President at Verizon Nederland B.V. since February 2015. Mr. Stratton has been an Executive Vice President at Verizon Communications Inc. since April 8, 2017 and has been its President of Global Operations since July 21, 2017. He is responsible for overseeing and growing Verizon’s wireless and wireline businesses: Verizon Wireless, Consumer and Mass Business, Verizon Enterprise Solutions and Verizon Partner Solutions and provides a broad array of consumer and enterprise communications products on the most advanced networks in the world. He also served as the President of Customer & Product Operations at Verizon Communications Inc., since April 8, 2017. He served as an Executive Vice President for Customer & Product Operations at Verizon Communications Inc. since 2012 until April 8, 2017 and served as its President of Operations since February 2015 until April 8, 2017. He served as President of Global Enterprise & Consumer Wireline at Verizon Communications Inc. from April 2014 to February 17, 2015. Mr. Stratton served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Verizon Communications Inc., since January 1, 2007 and was responsible for marketing & brand initiatives across all of Verizon's business units. Through his executive leadership at Verizon Communications, Mr. Stratton contributes extensive business and management experience operating a global public company such as Abbott, including valuable insights on corporate strategy and risk management. He served as President of Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Inc. since January 1, 2012 until April 2014. Mr. Stratton served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Cellco Partnership, Inc. (formerly Verizon Wireless) since October 1, 2010 January 2012. He served as Chief Marketing Officer of Cellco Partnership, Inc. from October 1, 2009 to October 1, 2010. He served as President of Cellco Partnership's Northwest Area from 2000 to 2001 and managed business operations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Montana and the Dakotas. He served as President of Bell Atlantic Mobiles Philadelphia Tri-State Region from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Stratton joined Bell Atlantic Mobile in 1993 as a Director of Retail Sales and Operations. He served as Vice President of Marketing for Bell Atlantic Mobile. He served as Vice President of Merchandising at Jersey Camera, where he oversaw purchasing and marketing. Prior to telecommunications industry, he served in several senior management positions in the consumer electronics industry. He has been a Director at Abbott Laboratories since July 04, 2017. He has been a Director of Verizon Telematics, Inc. (formerly HUGHES Telematics, Inc.) since July 26, 2012. Since October 2012, Mr. Stratton served on the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
