Biography
Dr. Grantham earned her Ph.D. in 2012 at Yale University. She works as an editor and freelance writer for websites, television, and magazines. She has published on religious movements in the Caribbean and health/nutrition topics for women. She is a Mellon Mays Fellow. She has served as the Vice Chair of Development for the Mellon Mays Fellowship Professional Network. She has an extensive background teaching in college and K12 education
Research Interest
Dr. Grantham researches political and religious themes in the African Diaspora, especially the Caribbean. Her background in francophone colonial and postcolonial texts informs her study of gender, sexuality, and women’s issues. She also teaches dance and visual arts theory and practicum.
