Biography

Dedicated public health physician leader with extensive experience and increasing responsibility in clinical medicine and public health practice, policy, administration, teaching, and research. Expertise and practical experience in local and state governmental public health practice, community-based participatory approaches to public health, policy analysis and development, quantitative and qualitative community engaged public health research. Expertise includes in depth and extensive focus on promoting health equity through public health practice and addressing the social determinants of health within health departments, local and state governmental agencies, community-based organizations, community coalitions, grants, and public policy.
