Biography
Dr. Lijuan Yuan is currently working as a Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences & Pathobiology, virgina Tech , USA. Her research interests includes Gnotobiotic pig. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Lijuan Yuan is the member of many international affiliations. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities. She has authored of many research articles/books related to Gnotobiotic pig.
Research Interest
Gnotobiotic pig (wild type, gene knockout and transgenic) model of human enteric virus infection and diseases, Study mechanisms of probiotics immune modulating effects on innate and adaptive immunity induced by virus infection and vaccines in the gnotobiotic pig model of human rotavirus infection and disease, Study norovirus pathogenesis and immunity in gnotobiotic pigs and to evaluate norovirus vaccines and potential anti-norovirus drugs.
