Biography

Mr. Richard A. Clarke, also known as Dick, has been Advisor at HawkEye 360, Inc. since July 6, 2017. Mr. Clarke serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Good Harbor Security Risk Management, LLC (alternatively, Good Harbor Consulting LLC). He has been Acting Head of Security Products of Context Relevant, Inc. since September 2014. Mr. Clarke serves as Acting Head of Security Products and Member of Customer Advisory Board of Versive, Inc. Mr. Clarke served as Executive Adviser for Cyber Security and Counter Terrorism at SRA Companies, Inc. (formerly SRA International, Inc.). Mr. Clarke served as Managing Partner at Good Harbor Consulting LLC. He is an on-air global terrorism Consultant for ABC Television. He is an on-air consultant for ABC News. He has taught at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He is a key player on the international stage in both the national security and counterterrorism arenas. For three decades, he has worked in the highest government levels in posts at the Defense and State departments. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Good Harbor Consulting LLC. Mr. Clarke began his federal service in 1973 in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He served as a Columnist for The New York Times. He served in the White House from 1992 to 2003. He served the last three U.S. President as a Senior White House Advisor, where he served as a Special Assistant to the President for Global Affairs, National Coordinator for security and counter-terrorism and Special Advisor to the President for cyber security. Mr. Clarke also served for 19 years in the Pentagon, the intelligence community and State Department. He served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence during the Reagan Administration. At Bush-Quayle Administration, he served as an Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs and coordinated diplomatic efforts to support the 1990-1991 Gulf War and the subsequent security arrangements from 1989 to 1992. He served as the Chairman and Director of Good Harbor Consulting, LLC. Mr. Clarke served as Chairman of the Board and Director of UAN Cultural & Creative Co., Ltd. (also known as Good Harbor Partners Acquisition Corp.) from August 2005 to June 16, 2008. He serves as Member of Advisory Board at Global Precision Research, LLC. He serves as a Member of Strategic Advisory Group at Paladin Capital Group. He serves as Member of Customer Advisory Board at Context Relevant, Inc. He has been a Member of Public Sector Advisory Board of Liquid Machines, Inc., since March 2006. He has been Director of BlueCat Networks, Inc. since September 12, 2017, Veracode, Inc. since June 1, 2011 and Visible Assets, Inc. since June 7, 2011. He serves as a Director at AirPatrol Corporation, Nok Nok Labs, Inc., Carbon Black, Inc., and Bit9, Inc. He served as a Member of Advisory Business Board of PGP Corporation. He served as a Member of Advisory Business Board at Vidient Systems, Inc. He served as Director of Identiv, Inc. (formerly Identive Group, Inc.) from January 1, 2012 to June 2013. Mr. Clarke served as a Member of the Advisory Board of Diversinet Corp. since August 12, 2003. He served as a Member of the Advisory Board of Hollywood Partners.com Inc., Guideline Capital Corp. and Universal Guardian Holdings Inc. since September 2003. He is a Faculty Affiliate at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University and the author eight books, including the national number one best-seller Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror, Breakpoint, Scorpion's Gate, Your Government Failed You and Cyber War: The Next Threat To National Security And What To Do About It. Mr. Clarke received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
