Janet F. Kavinoky

Biography

 Janet Kavinoky is vice president, federal & state governmental affairs of Vulcan Materials Company. Ms. Kavinoky joined Vulcan in September 2015 as director of federal and state governmental affairs. Prior to joining Vulcan, Ms. Kavinoky was executive director for transportation & infrastructure at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she led transportation policy and lobbying efforts, ran Americans for Transportation Mobility, and developed the Let’s Rebuild America initiative to raise the profile of infrastructure issues. She was honored by the Journal of Commerce as one of the 10 “most influential people in transportation” in 2010.  Ms. Kavinoky began her career at the U.S. Department of Transportation ultimately serving as a special assistant to the Secretary of Transportation. Ms. Kavinoky earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
