Mark E. Tomkins

Biography

Mark E. Tomkins serves as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Renewable Chemicals Corporation. Mr. Tomkins is a corporate consultant and private investor. He serves as Chief Financial Officer of Vulcan Materials Company, Pension Arm. He has knowledge of the global chemicals and petroleum industry and finance and business development in major corporations. He also has substantial governance and oversight experience. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Innovene Inc. from May 2005 to January 2006. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Innovene, a petroleum refining and chemical polymers business and a subsidiary of British Petroleum, from May 2005 to January 2006, when Innovene was sold to a strategic buyer. From August 1998 to January 2001, Mr. Tomkins served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Chemtura (formerly Great Lakes Chemical Corporation), a specialty chemicals company 1998 to 2001. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Vulcan Materials Company from January 2001 to May 13, 2005 and served as its Treasurer from May 2001 to May 13, 2005. From August 1998 to January 2001, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Great Lakes Chemical Company, where he was primarily responsible for finance, investor relations, strategic planning and information technology. From July 1996 to August 1998, he worked at Honeywell Corporation as Vice President of Finance and Business Development for its Polymers Division and as Vice President of Finance and Business Development for its Electronic Materials Division. From November 1990 to July 1996 Mr. Tomkins worked at Monsanto Company in various financial and accounting positions, including Chief Financial Officer of the growth enterprises division from January 1995 to July 1996. Prior to joining Monsanto he worked at Cobra Corporation and as an Auditor in private practice. He has been a Director of Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc. since November 2007. He has been Non-Executive Chairman at The ServiceMaster Company, LLC since May 3, 2016 and has been its director since June 2015. He has been Non-Executive Chairman of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. since May 03, 2016 and has been its Independent Director since June 8, 2015. He has been an Independent Director of W.R. Grace & Co. since September 6, 2006. He has been a Member of Advisory Board at Klöckner Pentaplast Europe GmbH & Co. KG since June 21, 2017. He served as a Director of CVR Energy, Inc. since January 2007 until May 7, 2012. He served as Director of Coffeyville Acquisition LLC since January 2007.
