Biography
Stanley G. Bass, also known as Stan, has been Chief Growth Officer of Vulcan Materials Company since February 12, 2016. Mr. Bass served as Senior Vice President of West Region at Vulcan Materials Company since September 2013. He served as Senior Vice President of Western Division & Mountain West Divisions at Vulcan Materials Company from January 1, 2015 to February 12, 2016. Mr. Bass served as Senior Vice President of West Region - Construction Materials at Vulcan Materials Company since February 1, 2013. Mr. Bass served as Senior Vice President of Central at Vulcan Materials Company since December 2011. Mr. Bass served as the President of Midsouth Division of Vulcan Materials from July 2005 to December 2011 and also served as its President of Southwest Division from September 1, 2010 to December 2011. Mr. Bass served as Vice President and General Manager in the eastern region of Vulcan's Midsouth Division until July 2005. Mr. Bass graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He also attended the Wharton School of Business Advanced Management Program.
