Mr. Manuel A. H. Brocke-Benz has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of VWR Corporation since January 3, 2013. Mr. Brocke-Benz has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of VWR International LLC since January 1, 2013. Mr. Brocke-Benz has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of VWR Funding, Inc. since January 3, 2013. Mr. Brocke-Benz served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Europe of Lab Distribution and Services at VWR Funding Inc., and served as its Interim Chief Executive Officer from July 25, 2012 to January 2013. Mr. Brocke-Benz served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Europe, Lab & Distribution Services at Vwr International Inc. and VWR Funding, Inc. since January 2006. He joined Vwr International Inc. in 1987. He served as Vwr International Inc. Senior Vice President and General Manager Continental Europe from 2003 to 2005 and Vwr International Inc. as Corporate Senior Vice President Process Excellence from 2001 to 2003. During the years 1996 to 2001 he served as General Manager Benelux countries, Vice President for European Key Accounts, Vice President for European Marketing and Corporate Senior Vice President for Global E-business. He has been a Director of VWR Funding, Inc and VWR International LLC since September 2012. Mr. Brocke-Benz has been a Director of VWR Corporation since September 2012. Mr. Brocke-Benz holds a law degree from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany.
