Biography
Marco Pagni is Executive Vice President, Global Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. Prior to the merger of Walgreen Co. and Alliance Boots, he was Group Legal Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer of Alliance Boots, having been appointed a Director of Alliance Boots in July 2007. Previously, he was General Counsel and Company Secretary of Alliance Boots, having joined Alliance UniChem, a predecessor company, in the same position in 2003. Pagni has also held senior management positions across the world in McDonald’s Corporation, where he worked for 10 years, and Texas Instruments. He attended Keble College, Oxford, and holds both a BA in law and a BCL from Oxford University. Pagni began his career as a lecturer in undergraduate law at Oxford University and in 1988 was admitted to practice law by the Bar of England and Wales.
