Mr. Stefano Pessina has been an Executive Vice Chairman of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. since January 2015 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since July 9, 2015. Mr. Pessina previously served as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc from January 2015 to July 9, 2015. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Boots GmbH since March 2011. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Unichem PLC from September 2001 to December 2004.
