Biography
Dr. Timothy R Koch received his MD degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1980. He then completed training in internal medicine gastroenterology and gastrointestinal physiology within the Clinician Investigator Training Program at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester MN Currently, he is working as Professor of Medicine Gastroenterology at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC. He is serving as an editorial member for Nutrition and Metabolic Disease WikiDoc and Gastroenterology WikiDoc. He has authored over 100 research articles/book chapters/books. He is a member of the American Physiological Society the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. He has been an invited speaker at National and International Medical Meetings in Japan the United States and Germany.
