Biography
A native of Australia, Professor Dean has been a member of the W&L faculty since 1984. He was formerly a member of the faculties of Southern Methodist University and Michigan State University. In addition he has been a visiting professor at the University of Western Australia (1999), the National University of Ireland, Galway (2004 and 2010), and at John Cabot University in Italy (2010). His experience also includes consulting for two national accounting firms and a national bank. Professor Dean teaches courses in Management and Organizational Behavior, Global Human Resource Management, and Leadership Themes in Classic Films. In the spring term he teaches a study-abroad course, The Culture and Business of Ireland, based in Galway, Ireland.
