Biography
Sirish Kishore, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in interventional radiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus. Dr. Kishore was recruited to join the Weill Cornell faculty after completing a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Kishore completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he was elected and served as Chief Resident. He earned his M.D. from the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Kishore double majored in Biochemistry and Hispanic Studies at Rice University, followed by completion of a Fulbright Scholarship prior to attending medical school. Dr. Kishore’s clinical expertise is in interventional oncology and complex venous diseases. He performs a wide variety of interventional procedures including, but not limited to, minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for malignancy, procedures to treat acute and chronic occlusions of the deep venous system, as well as advanced imaging of oncologic and vascular diseases. His research interests focus on innovative applications of image-guided therapy, drawing upon both molecular imaging and interventional radiology techniques, to enhance personalized diagnoses and to create novel targeted therapies.
