Biography
Matthew Valenti is a Professor in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University.  Dr. Valenti's research and teaching interests are in the areas of communication theory and statistical signal processing.  He received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Virginia Tech and an M.S. from Johns Hopkins.  He previously worked as an Electronics Engineer at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.  Upon joining WVU in 1999, he founded the Wireless Communications Research Lab.  Dr. Valenti is registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of West Virginia.
Research Interest
Dr. Valenti's research is concerned with the design, optimization, simulation, and implementation of wireless systems.Â
