Biography
r. Debra Hull, Professor of Psychology, has been at Wheeling Jesuit for 28 years. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Kent State University with a specialty in behavioral therapy, and now teaches related courses, as well as courses in research methods, human sexuality, industrial/organizational psychology, and junior and senior seminar.She is the author of 50 publications, 50 presentations at professional conferences, and 15 grants, some of which support student research and internship opportunities, and has been named Outstanding Faculty Member at WJU several times. In her spare time, she is an EMT with the Bethany Volunteer Fire Department, goes on almost-yearly service trips abroad, likes to quilt, and is taking clay classes
Research Interest
Her research interests are in the areas of teaching strategies, body image, ambiguous dating situations, and attitudes toward health
