Biography
Mr. Andrew Jay Redleaf, also known as Andy, is Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer at Whitebox Advisors, LLC. Mr. Redleaf founded Whitebox Advisors in 2000. He Founded Riverland Ag Corp. Mr. Redleaf was a Founding Partner of Deephaven Capital Management. He was Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Trust for Professional Managers - Collins Alternative Solutions Fund. While at Deephaven, Mr. Redleaf managed the Market Neutral Fund from 1994 to 1998. From 1980 to 1994, Mr. Redleaf was an options trader at the CBOE. Prior to his experience at the CBOE, he spent two years as an options trader with Gruntal & Company. He served as Portfolio Manager of Whitebox Mutual Funds - Whitebox Market Neutral Equity Fund. Mr. Redleaf served as a Director of Printware, Inc. since 2000. He served as Director of Phosphate Holdings, Inc. Mr. Redleaf graduated from Yale University in three years with a BA and MA in Mathematics and was recognized as the top mathematics student of his graduating year in 1978.
