Biography
Professor Joe Donnini is an experienced attorney, entrepreneur, educator, and business consultant. Over the past 15 years, he has had diverse experiences ranging from working in a civil litigation law firm to serving as General Counsel for the RE/MAX brand in California and Hawaii, and General Counsel for a petroleum company. Currently, Professor Donnini practices as a solo practitioner in the area of general corporate law, with sub-specialties in real estate, intellectual property, and franchise law. Prior to practice, Professor Donnini had the privilege of being selected to intern in the Office of Speech Writing at The White House. He also clerked at the United States District Court in Los Angeles and has founded retail and publishing businesses. These ventures have placed him in articles in Success Magazine and Entrepreneur Magazine. Professor Donnini self-published the over 500 page Real Estate Agents’ Reference Manual and currently writes copyright law articles for the Independent Book Publishers’ Association trade journal. He volunteers for several community entities, has worked on several political campaigns, and has previously served as legal counsel for a private school board. Professor Donnini’s courses include Modern Real Estate Transactions, International Intellectual Property (France Program), Copyright Law, Sports Law and Contracts.
