Biography
Dr. Karen Arabas is currently working as Professor of Environmental & Earth Sciences in Willamette University. She received Ph.D. in Geography from the Pennsylvania State University, M.A. in Environmental and Resources Policy from George Washington University and B.A. in Environmental Science from Wesleyan.
Research Interest
forest ecology and biogeography, application of theory to managing and restoring forests, natural and human disturbances to forests and interpret past disturbances and their impacts on forests, such as fire, climate and competition
