Biography
Kim Weismann was an Associate Professor in Williston State College and Instructor of COMM 110: Fundamentals of Public Speaking, COMM 200: Introduction to Media Writing, COMM 211: Oral Interpretation, COMM 212: Interpersonal Communication, COMM 216: Intercultural Communication, COMM 217: Organizational Communication, COMM 299: Special Topics, UNIV 100: College Strategies, UNIV 101: College Transitions.His Career historyincludes: Graduate Teaching Assistant at NDSU from 2006-2008. Taught Persuasive Speaking and Fundamentals of Public Speaking while at NDSU. Taught at Dickinson State University from 2008-2010. Courses included Fundamentals of Public Speaking, Coaching Forensics, Intercultural Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Persuasion, Argumentation, and Organizational Communication. Head Speech Coach at Dickinson High School for the 2009-2010 school year. At WSC, lead groups of students overseas to: China in 2011, Norway in 2013, Italy in 2015, Scotland and Ireland in 2017. Also lead the short stay program with Kokusai Junior College in Tokyo Japan in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. He was a Member of: National Communication Association, Central States Communication Association, Communication, Speech and Theatre Association of North Dakota, Delta Kappa Gamma.
