Biography
Joseph M. Ellis Becoming a political science professor was a dream since he was in high school. He have loved politics from a young age, and he majored in political science as an undergrad. It was a great personal and professional decision. He was able to interact with wonderful professors, meet political leaders, and work on the ground floor of politics. But teaching was my first love. His research and teaching interests are in comparative politics, primarily Eastern European and Russian politics. More specifically he research and teaching interests are in comparative politics, primarily Eastern European and Russian politics. study the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, and take students to those locales on W’International. Prior to Wingate University, he taught for four years at the University of Tennessee, and also taught at Temple University. As a native of Tennessee, he have a love for all things Tennessee orange. He enjoy reading Scandinavian crime novels, listening to Neil Young’s music, playing tennis, and watching baseball. He have a wife, Joanna, and three children, Lena, Beau, and Dean.
Research Interest
His research interests are in comparative politics, primarily Eastern European and Russian politics.
