Biography
Dr. Grattan graduated with a B.S. degree in chemistry from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of South Carolina working in the area of organic ligand design and synthesis. He teaches courses in organic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry as well as the departmental research course sequence. His research interest involves the synthesis and development of improved enzyme inhibitors for cancer research.
