Biography
Education: MS Xiamen University 2009 PhD Tulane University 2014 My research interests are biological mathematics, fluid dynamics, modeling and simulations. The focus of my research is on the development and analysis of mathematical and computational models that can be used to study the fluid dynamics of microorganism motility. I enjoy teaching and conveying mathematics to students. In teaching, I always seek a balance between lecturing to students and letting them develop analytical feeling through working on assignments and projects, so that students could gain a fundamental understanding of the concepts behind the material, and know how to approach and frame mechanisms of solving problems on their own.
