Biography
Education: PhD Mathematics National University of Ireland, Galway 2012 M Litt Mathematics National University of Ireland, Galway 2008 BA Mathematics National University of Ireland, Galway with Honors 2007 My research interests are in combinatorics, algebra and their applications to real world problems. I am particularly interested in symmetric designs, Hadamard matrices and difference sets. I have applied these methods to problems in compressed sensing and communications engineering. In teaching, I hope to communicate to students the rigor and beauty of pure mathematics as well as its applicability to real world problems.
