Biography
Education: PhD Mathematics Purdue University 2016 MS Mathematical Engineering Politecnico di Milano, Italy 2011 BS Mathematical Engine Politecnico di Milano, Italy 2008. I received my PhD in mathematics at Purdue University working in the field of applied mathematics studying biological applications. My PhD work focused on the study of ocular blood circulation and aqueous humor flow in relation to ocular diseases, with a particular interest in glaucoma, a degenerative ocular disease which is the second leading cause of blindness all over the world. I previously received my BS and MS in mathematical engineering at Politecnico di Milano; both my BS and MS thesis focused on turbulence.
