Brent Wright

Biography

 Brent Wright, PE, SE, LEED AP, is a structural engineer licensed in 39 states. He was lead structural engineer for the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas and has overseen the structural engineering for thousands of projects nationwide. Brent holds BS and MS degrees in engineering from Brigham Young University. He formerly held a Nevada unlimited general contractor’s license. He was a founder and the first president of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern Nevada and is a member of the KNPR Nevada Public Radio Community Advisory Board, the Art Institute of Las Vegas Program Advisory Board, the Las Vegas Executives Association, the American Lung Association of Nevada Leadership Board. Brent currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Appeals for the City of Las Vegas Department of Building and Safety and as a member of the Nevada Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
