Research Interest

Her interests includes psychology, social theory and cultural studies. Prior to becoming interested in psychology, Dr. Winkel was a microbiologist and conducted research in the field of virology. Dr. Winkel is a psychoanalyst . Some of Dr. Winkel's other current interests include the psychoanalytic study of music, cultural and social issues and cross-cultural phenomena.
