Biography
Dr. Boyd has worked in Mathematics Education at Wright State since 2006. He has a joint appointment between the Department of Teacher Education and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Research Interest
His interests include student-centered and project-based learning; assessment practices of teachers; school leadership; and the impact that state tests (and the results) have on teachers, principals, and policy makers. While at WSU, Dr. Boyd served as the Founding Principal of the Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS). He continues to work with the school as the Director of the DRSS Hub and Training Center.
