Biography
In 2014, Dr. Culotta joined our department as an Instructor after receiving her B.S. in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and both her M.S. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Penn State University. She has taught courses at both Penn State and Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Research Interest
She is interested in adolescent peer relationships. For her dissertation, she examined the effects of cumulative risk and physical abuse on the peer relationships of at-risk youth. In the future, she would like to examine the impact that "color-blind" racial attitudes may have on cross-race friendships during adolescence.
