Research Interest

At Wright State University, She serve as the principal investigator on projects related to AIDS, viral vectors, and biodefense. Current projects include HIV-1 mutation and recombination, HIV-1 infection of eosinophils, gene therapy for HIV-1, viral vector biosafety, and antiviral nanotechnology. Her laboratory consists of areas equipped for modern molecular biology, tissue culture, and biocontainment.
