Biography
Education History: B.S. 1990. The Evergreen State College Ph.D. 2006. University of Wisconsin-Madison She is a part time teacher , co-teaching a course in Biogeography and offering senior capstone seminars for biology majors.
Research Interest
She is a botanist with interests in plant geography, floristics, historical biogeography, phylogenetics, evolution and conservation. While she have conducted research in molecular systematics and phylogeography, at heart she still a field biologist exploring the flora of the Pacific Northwest.
