Research Interest
Hannah earned his Ph.D. at Penn State in 2015. His research and teaching interests primarily focus on state politics and the diffusion and construction of public policy. He also studies the politics of secondary public education, particularly examining how teachers are influenced by federal and state policies when teaching controversial subjects. His work has been published in Policy Studies Joural, Public Opinion Quarterly, and Science. Dr. Hannah also oversees the internship program.
