Shon Patrick Anderson

Biography

Shon P. Anderson, M.B.A., CFP®, CFA® is a two-time graduate of Wright State University with an Bachelor of Science in Business degree majoring in Financial Services and a Masters of Business Administration degree concentrated in Finance. Shon has also earned the distinguished designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) as well as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). Shon’s professional life consists of managing a Financial Planning & Investment Management practice he founded called Anderson Financial Strategies, LLC in Dayton, Oh. Prior to founding his current firm, Shon spent 10 years working at large investment houses including UBS Financial Services and Merrill Lynch. He has been an Adjunct Professor with Wright State’s Finance Department since Winter Quarter of 2009 and has also instructed in Wright State’s CFP® Exam preparation & review course. I believe hands-on projects along with sharing my "real-world" experience as a financial planning practitioner are vital components for students to link the theoretical to the actual. Financial management, especially when applied to personal finance, is an incredibly important subject to master for all individuals.
