Biography
Hugo Blasutta was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of WSP in Canada in June 2016. Mr. Blasutta was previously Chief Executive Officer of MMM Group, and was welcomed into the global corporate office of WSP with the acquisition of MMM late in 2015. Hugo Blasutta has more than 35 years’ experience in the consulting engineering industry, both in Canada and internationally. He has extensive experience at the executive level, including in strategic planning, corporate and business development and operations. Mr. Blasutta is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the private company Coriport S.A. He has also been a member of a number of other Boards of Directors of public and private companies. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A. Sc. in Civil Engineering) and a Masters of Engineering (M.Eng. in Civil Engineering), both from the University of Toronto.
