Biography
Sharon Burgess has played a major role since the inception of Xcelience in 2006 and brings more than 20 years of experience in Pharmaceutical and Engineering Services. Sharon joined the business in 2003 when it was a division of MDS Pharma Services, and made defining contributions during the 2006 spin off. During her tenure at Xcelience, she has earned positions of increasing responsibility based on her proven ability to help clients reach their early stage development goals, streamline the sales process, unify the sales team around a performance culture, and reinforce a solutions-based approach to business development. Sharon is responsible for all aspects of business development including global sales team, partnering and strategic marketing. Prior to joining Xcelience, Sharon was Business Director at Bio-Concept Laboratories and Senior Sales Engineer at Tally Systems. She is an active member of AAPS and a previous leadership committee member at MBC.
