Alonso Diaz B. Etienne

Biography

Alonso Diaz B. Etienne is the Founding Partner at Gerbera Capital, an investment platform specialized in Private Equity/Venture Capital in Mexico and global portfolio management with a value focus. Prior to Gerbera Capital, Alonso was the CFO of Grupo Diestra, a leading private Mexican group with interest in the apparel, tourism and real estate industries and CEO and Chairman of Metroscubicos.com, the leading Internet portal in Mexico in the real estate industry. Alonso has also been a Professor of Securities Law at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) where he received a degree in Law and has been a professor of economics at the Universidad Anahuac del Sur. Alonso also received a degree in Economics at ITAM and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
