Biography

B.S., Civil & Environmental Engineering M.S., Civil & Environmental Engineering Brigham Young University M.E.M. (Masters of Engineering Management) Brigham Young University, Marriot School of Management As Chief Executive Officer, Colby is responsible for the company's strategic vision and leads the development and growth of Innovyze's global wet infrastructure software technology portfolio. With advanced degrees in civil and environmental engineering as well as engineering business administration, Colby is a licensed Professional Engineer and an experienced software company executive. Creation, enhancement and promotion of software tools for advanced engineering modeling and analysis has been the focus of his career and is at the center of his daily activities. Colby previously served as President & CEO of XP Solutions, responsible for executive management of all business activities of the global XP Solutions organization with offices in the UK, Australia, the United States, and the Philippines. He has also held positions as software developer, product manager, consultant & trainer, sales & marketing executive, and business manager over the course of his career within the engineering software industry prior to Innovyze and XP Solutions. Having lived and worked in the USA, Australia, and the UK, Colby has a broad understanding of the global water and wastewater industry and the software technology required to elevate professional practice worldwide. Water resources modeling and computational methods are his technical specialties; he has served on various advisory committees in these specialties and is recognized as a certified instructor for professional development with industry organizations such as ASCE and FWHA NHI.
