Biography
He completed his Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife, did Ph.D. specialization in Resource and Environmental Economics from Michigan State University in 2007. hHe completd his Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University in 2005, and Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Ecology from University of Maine in 1999.
Research Interest
Bioeconomics, natural resource economics, natural capital and natural liabilities, link between natural capital and non-market and market ecosystem services, microeconomic behavior as it relates to resource dynamics, populations and disease ecology, epidemiology, partial controllability of systems, feedbacks between humans and ecosystems, tradeoffs in natural resource management, the role of risk and approaches to managing risk in natural resource decision making, fisheries management and policy, invasive species, dynamic optimization.
