INSPIRATIONS My teachers, fellow practitioners, and family WHY I PRACTICE I practice for the benefits that yoga brings to body, heart, and mind. I had the benefit of experiencing my first meditation class at the same time I was beginning to take vinyasa yoga classes. Eventually, I found teachers that helped me to integrate the physical practice of yoga poses with inner methods, including pranayama and meditation. I continue to be drawn to practices that integrate different dimensions of the yogic path, including yin and yang yoga, meditation, and psycho-spiritual inquiry. WHY I TEACH After experiencing the benefits of the practice, it was hard not to want to share it with others. I enjoy connecting with others through the practice of teaching yoga and having the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in community.
