INSPIRATIONS I draw inspiration from many sources including past teacher trainings and weekend trainings with teachers I greatly admire, and I incorporate sacred texts to infuse principal yogic themes such as Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and themes of letting go and being present. I love incorporating readings from Pema Chodrun and Thich Nhat Hanh. Music is also a huge inspiration, and I create play lists that aim to support students in having a transformational experience on the mat. WHY I PRACTICE Yoga is a spiritual practice for me, in addition to being a tremendous stress reliever. WHY I TEACH In my heart I know yoga makes people feel better, no matter what. Yoga, of course coupled with concentrated pranayama (breathing) can make any day better and this is why I am constantly encouraging people to give it a shot. I love teaching newbies as well as advanced practitioners.
