Biography
Dr. Sabrina Deutsch Salamon earned her PhD in Organizational Behavior at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Sabrina’s research interests include organizational trust, citizenship and deviant behaviors, and group dynamics. Her recent work has been published in several leading academic journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. Her research projects have been supported by grants from Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and Mitacs, and she is the recipient of SAS Interdisciplinary Research Award. Her research on trust has been profiled in several media outlets, including in Der Spiegel, and interviews on her work were broadcast by CBC National Radio and various local radio stations. Professor Deutsch Salamon is a faculty member in the School of Administrative Studies and the School of Human Resource Management and teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. She holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Business Administration (With Distinction), and prior to pursuing her Doctoral degree, she worked several years as an economist in the Bank of Israel. Sabrina also completed graduate studies in Counseling, is a certified group facilitator, and has worked with individuals and with groups in organizations in the last decade.
