L. Lee Karras

Biography

Mr. L. Lee Karras serves as President of IBA Molecular North America, Inc. Mr. Karras served as Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Pharmaceutical Services at ZeeCRO Inc. He is an established pharmaceutical business executive with over 20 years of healthcare industry related experience. He has held executive leadership roles in several businesses during this time and his particular expertise lies in sterile pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization. He has a proven track record building and managing businesses in excess of 1000 people and with revenues in excess of $150MM. He served as President of Pharmalogx LLC, advising private equity firms on strategic matters and acquisitions. He was Chief Executive Officer of a privately held drug development company, leading it through a split from the parent company and as a stand-alone business. He served as Senior Vice President of Global Pharmaceutical Services at ZeeCRO Inc. (alternate name AAIPharma Inc.). Mr. Karras served as the President at AAIPharma Services Corp. and served as its Chief Operating Officer. He served as Senior Vice President of Non-Clinical Services at AAiPharma Inc. since August 23, 2006. He served as a Consultant for pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the areas of technical operations, FDA compliance, supply chain operations and strategic planning. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Contract Services at Baxter Healthcare Corporation and also served as its Vice president of Operations, where he led the sterile products contract manufacturing business, including all sales, marketing, manufacturing and quality assurance. Mr. Karras holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Masters' Degree in Environmental Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
