Kevin G. Zucco

Biography

Since 1993, Kevin Zucco has performed structural design and analysis of public, commercial, residential, and educational facilities. Kevin applies his experience and enthusiasm for the public, education and winery industries to designing buildable and reliable structures with coherent and practical construction documents to meet all architectural design features. Many new fire station projects, a largely subterranean winery, a new community college library and science buildings add to his recent experience. Versatility in design and materials exemplifies Kevin’s work which includes the use of BIM technology, pre-cast concrete wall panels, rammed earth walls, and structural insulated panels (SIP). He is also adept in the use of ASCE31/41 evaluations of existing buildings for reuse. Kevin is committed to sustainability, having contributed to the published article for the 2008 SEAONC Convention: “Consideration of Building Performance in Sustainable Design: A Structural Engineer’s Role.”
