Larry C. Glasscock

Biography

 Mr. Larry C. Glasscock serves as the President of Rocky Mountain Hospital & Medical Service, Inc. Mr. Glasscock served as the Chairman at WellPoint, Inc. from November 2005 to March 2010 and as its Chief Executive Officer and President from 2001 to June 1, 2007. He served as the Chairman of the Board at Anthem Insurance from May 2003 to November 2004 and Chief Executive Officer and President since April 1998 until June 2007. Prior to Anthem Insurance, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at CareFirst Inc. from January 1998 to April 1998. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Group Hospitalization and Medical Services Inc. from 1993 to January 1998 and oversaw its affiliation with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at Blue plans. From 1991 to 1993, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at First American Bank, N.A. Since 1991, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Essex Holdings, Inc. He held various Executive positions during his twenty-year tenure with Ameritrust Corporation. Mr. Glasscock served as a Senior Vice President at Evercom Systems and an Executive Vice President at NextJet Technologies Inc. From January 1992 to September 2000, he served in senior management positions at Expedited Delivery. Mr. has been the Non-Executive Chairman of Zimmer Holdings, Inc. since May 2013. He has been an Independent Director of Sysco Corporation since September 17, 2010. He has been a Director of Simon Property Group, Inc. since March 2010 and has been its Lead Independent Director since March 27, 2014. He serves as a Director of BCS Financial Services Corporation. He has been an Independent Director at Zimmer Holdings, Inc. since 2001. He served as a Director of Sprint Corp. since August 7, 2007 until July 10, 2013. He served as the President at the CSU Alumni Association. He serves as a Director of Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), National Institute for Health Care Management (NIHCM), Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), and the Indiana Health Industry Forum (IHIF). Mr. Glasscock studied at the School of International Banking and has participated in the American Bankers Association Conference of Executive Officers. He completed the Commercial Bank Management Program at Columbia University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Cleveland State
