Juan Pablo Malfavon

Biography

Juan Pablo has more than nineteen years of international experience as an in-house counsel, the last ten years of relevant experience in Latin America at leading international companies such as Pfizer, Abbott, Colgate, General Motors, Philip Morris/Kraft, among others. Recognized as a leader in building close partnerships with stakeholders, being proactive and helping colleagues to achieve aggressive objectives, while managing legal risks and complying with ethical obligations. Able to easily understand business needs, providing added value to the business and inspiring trust and confidence through effective communication, responsiveness and sound advice. He has solid academic qualifications, holds a Law degree from Universidad Anahuac and admission to practice law in Mexico since 1999, a Master of Business Administration from Adolfo Ibañez University in Miami, Florida, a Certificate in Development of Managerial Skill (Leaders in Action) from Universidad Iberoamericana and two Postgraduate courses one in Economics and Corporate Law and the other one in Commercial Law from Universidad Panamericana.
