Samir M. Patel

Biography

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from West Virginia University Medical School. He completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the West Virginia University. He completed a Fellowship in Upper Extremity, Microvascular and Hand Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital under the direction of world renowned surgeons, Dr. Mark Baratz and Dr. Dean Sortereanos. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has earned sub-specialty Board Certification as a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand and Microvascular Surgery. He has also earned a Subspecialty Board Certificate as a Certificate of Added Qualification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
