Biography

 Christopher Overcash is a Vice President and Practice Leader for KCI’s water/wastewater infrastructure practice where he leads design teams for water supply, distribution and wastewater systems and has investigated water supply technology for international markets. He is also the chairman of KCI’s Marine Services Collaborative and has experience in the planning, execution, design and management of projects in marine design, dredging, environmental engineering and resource management. Overcash is an adjunct professor within the Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professionals program and an associate of the Johns Hopkins Environment, Energy, Sustainability, and Health Institute. He holds a Master of Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins and is a licensed professional engineer in five states. He is a Board Certified Environmental Engineer of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, and is also credentialed by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure and the U.S. Green Building Council. He teaches courses on a wide variety of environmental engineering topics and is an expert in sustainability, water resources and supply. As a member of the U.S. Naval Institute, he has a broad base of knowledge both in global security issues and naval affairs, and he was invited to present on water security at the Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference. In 2015, Chris was elected to serve a two-year term as employee representative on KCI’s board of directors and chariman of the firm’s companywide employee committee.
