Biography
Eminent Scholar and Professor of International Business. B.A. in Economics (Peking University), Ph.D. in Sociology (Princeton University), Post-Doctoral Fellow (Harvard University). 2008 Outstanding Faculty (SCHEV) Award winner.
Research Interest
The global environment of business, especially the governance environment in societies undergoing rapid transformation. Articles have appeared in journals such as Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Management International Review, and Journal of World Business. Commentaries have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and The New York Times. The Economist featured his research twice.
